Valliage of the Stars - Milestone Scholarship Announcement - 2025

Dear Wishlist/VoS Families,

Village of the Stars (VoS) is committed to empowering Chinese adoptees by supporting their educational and career journeys. As part of this mission, we are proud to offer the Milestone Scholarship—an initiative designed to celebrate and support adoptees as they take the important step of pursuing higher education.

The Milestone Scholarship recognizes the resilience of adoptees, many of whom have overcome early life challenges, and encourages them to build a strong foundation for their future careers through college education.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. High school graduate with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)

2. Accepted into an accredited college

3. Intention and commitment to attend the college

   
   

We are grateful to SAIF Partner Charitable for sponsoring this scholarship, which was awarded for the first time last year.

If your child is heading to college this year and you would like to apply for this opportunity, please complete the application form below. As we did last year, we plan to publish an article featuring a compilation of brief introductions of each scholarship applicant. Please provide a one-page write-up about your child, highlighting what you feel is most important for our readers to know. Be sure to include one or two photos to accompany their story.

A dedicated Messenger group will be created for this scholarship program, and families of applicants will be invited to join for updates and communication.
